About us

We build software for the people who run senior homes.

Golden Gather began inside senior living communities — on the floor, at the front desk, and on the phone with families. We built the system we wished we had.

Our story

Senior living teams are asked to do extraordinary work with tools that were never designed for them. Activity calendars live in one program, incidents in a binder, dining counts on a clipboard, and family updates in whoever's memory answered the phone.

We started Golden Gather because that fragmentation costs residents time and attention. When a care aide spends twenty minutes reconstructing a fall report, that time comes from somewhere.

So we built one resident record every department can trust, wrapped it in the workflows homes actually run each day, and gave families a window in — without adding a single task to a nurse's shift.

What we value

Residents first

Every feature has to give time back to the people caring for residents — otherwise it doesn't ship.

Built from the floor

Our roadmap comes from activity coordinators, care aides and home managers, not from industry conferences.

Careful with data

Resident information is private by default, with role-based access and a full audit trail on sensitive records.

One home at a time

We onboard homes personally, migrate your existing records, and train your team before you go live.

How we got here

  1. The problem

Six disconnected tools, three binders and a whiteboard. Families calling the front desk for information nobody could find quickly.

  2. The first build

A single resident record that activities, care, dining and maintenance could all rely on — replacing the spreadsheets first.

  3. Today

A full operating system for senior living: residents, rooms, activities, notices and letters, incidents, meal census, reports and a family portal.

  4. Next

Deeper reporting, automated staff notifications and more assistance for the writing work that eats into care time.
